Prepare to Podcast

The key to recording quickly and efficiently in any studio is preparation.

• Think about the questions you want to be asked and the answers you wish to give.


• Make the content as precise and to the point as possible - try not to ramble on.


• Before the time comes to record, try rehearsing the kinds of things you want to say.


• Or write them down in bullet points or notes.

When recording don't worry if you make a mistake or say the wrong thing, just take a breath, start again and we can edit it later.

When speaking into the microphone, speak clearly and project your voice.

Talking with a smile tends to make it come across more positive.

BUT MOST OF ALL - HAVE FUN!

The Publishing Process

The script

The content is always better written by the person who knows their business or product/service best. Support and advice is always available.

Recording

Professional sound engineering is normally recorded at the studio, but can be done elsewhere. Please ask for details.

Editing

All the audio can be fully edited and mixed, and music and sound effects can be added.

Publishing to the internet

We then upload the podcast ready for subscribers to download or we can provide the audio file as an mp3 which can then be add to your own website.

The same audio file can also be added as a commercial or informative radio advert if required.
